Greetings artists
and crafters and musicians and performers and all other arts aficionados,
Do you have an idea for an activity that
might encourage children and families to explore and enjoy the Lake Monji
environment?
Discover Lake Monji Day is scheduled for Sunday September 23rd and we are looking for volunteers to run low-cost arts activities for children and adults.
We already have two activities lined up thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of the Esperance Photographers Club, who will lead photography walks followed by a competition and exhibition of the entries, and to Flora Yetman, who has wonderful plans for painted bags that will also culminate in exhibition at Esperance community Arts gallery.
If you would like to contribute an idea and be part of Discover Lake Monji Day please email me with your proposal - a paragraph is all I need.
The Shire and ECA will cover cost of materials
required and provide some support on the day if you provide the human
resources.
